Éden Cine-Teatro

Éden Cine-Theatre began by housing a succession of spaces with a show vocation, namely theatres but also cinemas, in temporary buildings since the beginning of the last century. The first play was staged in 1914 — "O Burro do Senhor Alcaide" by Gervásio Lobato.

Independently of the architectural contribution of each of the architects, in this project, which included Secil Group's hallmark, it is worth emphasising the grandiosity and exterior quality of the building. Also, the ability to adapt the interior, given the need to adjust the structure of the performance hall to the previous commitments regarding the pre-existing commercial structure.
