Municipal Stadium of Braga

Winner of the Secil Award for Architecture in 2004 and the Secil Award for Civil Engineering in 2005, Municipal Stadium of Braga is one of the most recognised projects of the Secil Group.

Developed by Souto de Moura to be a project without grandstands at the tops because "the football spectacle should be seen as it is on TV or in the cinema".

The result was simple and effective architectural work, both in form and in constructive logic. The result was a project with the perfect balance between Architecture and Engineering.
